Ortom govt reacts as Benue-born Pillah Romans emerges President, West African Students Union

Principal Special Assistant to the Governor on Special Duties, Hon. Abrahams Kwaghngu has congratulated Comrade Pillah Romans on his recent election as President, West African Students Union, WASU.

Hon. Kwaghngu who received the WASU President and his entourage in his Makurdi residence advised him to adopt a responsive and open door leadership policy.

The Principal Special Assistant also charged the students to embrace entrepreneurship as a pathway to economic freedom.

He stated that apprenticeship scheme of the Ibos of the South West has elevated them above poverty level, pointing out that Benue youths must embrace same in order to move away from the culture of depending on government for survival.

In a related development, Hon. Abrahams Kwaghngu today hosted members of the Central Planning Committee that planned and executed the birthday anniversary celebration of his wife, Mrs. Ann Hembafan Kwaghngu which held December 2020.

Hon. Kwaghngu appreciated the committee for their wonderful contributions to the success of the event, stressing that they had become part of his family and the spirit of oneness would be sustained.
