Ortom hails Buhari for appointing Jime as NSC scribe

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for appointing candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC in the 2019 governorship elections, Rt Hon. Emmanuel Jime as the Executive Secretary, Nigerian Shippers Council, NSC.

President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday through his Presidential Spokesman, Garba Shehu made the announcement in a press statement.

The Shippers Council is an agency that provides a forum for the protection of the interest of shippers on matters affecting the shipment of imports and exports to and from Nigeria.

While congratulating Barr, Jime, governor Ortom appealed to President Bihari to find more Benue sons and daughters worthy of being appointed into key positions.

According to Terver Akase, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ortom wished him a successful tenure and assures him of the support of his administration.
