“Ortom has given a marching order for the reconstruction of Oju-Awajir road” – Abounu

Benue State Deputy Governor, Engr. Benson Abounu, has said that his boss Governor Samuel Ortom has given a marching order for Oju–Awajir road to be reconstructed.

He said the governor’s order was borne out of the realisation that the dilapidated road is dear to the people of Oju LGA.

According to the deputy governor, Ortom gave the order at the last State Executive Council meeting which he presided over before his current US trip.

Abounu spoke as a Distinguished Guest at the 46th Birthday Anniversary Celebration and Thanksgiving Service for Rt. Hon. Samson Okwu at Obarike Ito, Obi LGA, on Sunday.
