Ortom leads Jime with 82,682 votes with only one LG remaining as Benue people await final announcement

Governor Samuel Ortom of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is comfortable leading his opponent, Emmanuel Jime of the All Progressives Congress in results so far announced by INEC.

With just the result of Konshisha LGA being awaited, Ortom is coasting home to victory with a vote-margin of 82,682.
As at 7:30 am on Monday, Ortom 380,350 votes while Jime is trailing behind with 297,668

INEC said it would resume collation by 9 this morning.
