Governor Samuel Ortom on his way to Abuja this afternoon stopped at Kudugba Village of Nasarawa Eggon, Nasarawa State where an accident had occurred. The Governor directed that the victims be moved to the hospital and their bills paid.
Governor Ortom was joined at the scene of the accident by Senator Gabriel Suswam who was on his way to Makurdi.
Eye witnesses said the accident occurred when the driver tried to avoid a head-on collision with another vehicle in which at least ten passengers sustained various degrees of injuries.
