Governor Samuel Ortom this morning received some of his colleague Governors from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who are in the State for the PDP Governors Forum meeting.
Those received at the Makurdi Airport include Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike, Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and Taraba State Governor, Architect Darius Ishaku.
Also received at the Makurdi Airport for the meeting was Akwa Ibom State Governor, Emmanuel Udom while governors of Edo and Zamfara States are being awaited.
National Chairman of the PDP, Prince Uche Secondus and former Governor of Niger State, Babangida Aliyu were also received at the Airport by the Governor.
Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal who is chairman of the PDP Governors Forum, Enugu State Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and Bayelsa State Governor Duoye Diri arrived yesterday ahead of the meeting today.
Former Governor Gabriel Suswam and other top Government officials were also at the Airport with the Governor to receive the visitors.
