Ortom vs Jime: Young man to commit suicide, another to go naked over Benue election result

Barring any unforeseen circumstance, a young man identified as Akaa James, may go the way of all mortals if the final result of the just-concluded guber election in Benue State goes in favour of the Samuel Ortom of the PDP.

IDOMA VOICE gathered that James vowed to commit suicide if Governor Ortom, who he described as ‘Kanshio’ emerged winner.

“Mark my words. Keep a date. I will hang myself if God Samuel Ortom aka Kansio emerge governor for a second time (sic),” he had written on his Facebook wall.

However, as at 11:am on Monday, Ortom seems to be leading comfortably with over 82,000 vote-margin and with just a local government area left.

Interestingly, another Kamo Emmanuel Kano vowed to walk naked on the streets of Benue if the result favours PDP’s Ortom.

“I will be waking naked around Benue with my penis in my hand if Ortom becomes Governor for second term,” he also promised in a post on his Facebook wall.
