Ortom’s aide, Isa Usman under fire for kicking against Agatu’s renovation

By Vera Enenche

Alh. Isa Usman, the man who claims to be a Special Adviser on Monitoring and Evaluation to governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State is currently at the receiving end of harsh criticisms for kicking against therecent move by some persons from Agatu community who dragged the FederalGovernment to ECOWAS court over the damage caused in the community by Fulani herdsmen over the years.

The little known Usman had in a statement, apparently influenced by the Benue State government, claimed those who dragged the FG to ECOWAS court, demanding for N10bn were fighting for their pocket.
However, he got more than he bargained for when his statement hit the social media as angry Idoma natives literarily tore him apart.
While some called for his sack as an aide to the governor, others lampooned the state governor, Ortom for influencing the error-prone statement.
Others wondered why such statement didn’t come up when the people of Zaki Biam dragged the FG to court few years ago.
Both Ortom and Usman have been told to kiss the dust.
Here are reactions from angry Idoma citizens on Facebook.
