Chief Press Secretary to Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue state, Mr. Terver Akase has introduced a contest aimed at encouraging Benue youths on the back-to-farm policy of his principal’s administration.
The initiative tagged ‘Farming Give Away: The Ortom Challenge’, which holds till 6PM today has tasked Benue youths who are farmers to post pictures of themselves in action on their farms in order to win improved cassava stems.
To be moderated by Mr Zaki Felix, a member of the Benue PDP social media team, the initiative will give out the following based on the numbers of Facebook Likes on the photos:
1st prize – 3 bundles of cassava stems
2nd prize – 2 bundles of cassava stems
3rd prize – 1 bundle of cassava stem
