Osimhen, Kvaratskhelia shine as Napoli thrash Monza 4-0

Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen was among the goal scorers as Napoli defeated Monza at the Diego Maradona Stadium in Naples.

Napoli got a comfortable 4-0 win over Monza, making them sustain their 100% record after dispersing Verona 2-5 in the first game of the new season away from home.

Kvaratskhelia scored the first goal of the game after curling a wonderful effort to the top corner rendering the goalkeeper helpless.

Osimhen grabbed the second goal minutes before the end of the first half as he sped off on a counter, beating his marker and played a low shot to elude the keeper.

This is Osimhen second goal of the tournament after scoring his first goal of the campaign in the last match against Verona.

With just over an hour of football played, Kvaratskhelia grabbed his second goal of the day after beautifully dribbling past two defenders before slotting the ball home with his weaker left foot.

This makes it a great start to the campaign by the Georgian after sealing his move to Naples just this summer to replace Club captain and legend, Lorenzo Insigne.

Monza tried to fight back through former Napoli star, Petanga but saw his goal disallowed for infringement.

Kim put the icing on the cake in the last minutes of the match and ensured Napoli scored their ninth goal of the campaign in just two matches.
