Osimhen, Lookman nominated for Seria A Player of the Month

Two Super Eagles who have performed excellently well and banged in winners for their clubs have been rightfully nominated for the Seria A Player of the Month.

Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman were in blistering form and have been rewarded by being up for the Player of the Month.

In the month of October, Lookman scores the winner for Atalanta against Florentina, Sassuolo and also scored against Empoli and Udinese.

The 23-year-old scored 4 goals in 5 appearances to help his side sit comfortably in 2nd position on the Seria A table.

Like Lookman, Victor Osimhen scored winning goal for Napoli against Bologna and Roma before scoring his first club career hat-trick against Sassuolo.

Despite missing four weeks in September due to injury, Osimhen is the top scorer of the league with 7 goals in just 8 appearances.

The Nigerian duo will face competition from Nicollo Barella (Inter Milan), Rafa Leao (AC Milan), Sergej Milinkovic-Savic (Lazio) for the Player of the Month honour.

Meanwhile, it is expected that one of the Super Eagles duo do win it after outperforming their competitors statistically.
