Otukpo: George Alli denies sending thugs to beat up predecessor, Inalegwu

RE: My successor and predecessor Hon George Alli at about 3.30pm today Monday 6th July sent thugs to my business premises assaulted me and forcefully removed my car plate number.
The attention of Rt. Hon. George Alli, the newly sworn-in Chairman of Otukpo Local Government Council, has been drawn to above mischievous post, authored by the immediate past Caretaker Chairman of Otukpo LGC, Hon. Abraham Inalegwu, on his Facebook page, with the malicious intent making and to drag the name of Hon. George Alli, in the mud.
In the said post, published on his personal Facebook page, on Monday, July 6th, 2020, Hon. Abraham alleged that Hon. Alli sent thugs to his business premises to assault him at his business premises. This is totally false and ridiculous.
Ordinarily this is not worth a reply, but considering the danger the mosleading post poses, especially to gullible people, it is pertinent to set the record straight.
The same Hon. Inalegwu Abaraham, who, earlier, in a Facebook post dated Thursday, June 18th, 2020 (find attached, screenshots of his posts), claimed to “have handed over all government properties” in his possession, in accordance with directives by state government is the same man crying foul over a number plate which belongs to government.
The same man is still living in the official residence reserved for Vice Chairman of the Local Government Council, after “handing over all government properties”.
The question he (Inalegwu Abraham) should answer include:
1) Is the official residence of the Vice Chairman of Otukpo Local Government Council his personal residence?
2) is the official number plate of the Local Government his personal property?
3) Are those two not also part of Government properties?
4) Can a President or Vice President ; Governor or Deputy Governor, after official hand over continue to maintain his official quarter?
5) What does he aim to achieve by dragging Chief. George Alli’s name in the mud?
For the aviodance of doubts, Hon. George Alli, as a law abiding citizen is a responsible man who does not preoch not practice violence. The Council Chairman does not believe in thuggery and does not employ violence in his private or official dealings with people. Everyone knows Alli as a man of peace.
When he (Abraham) was asked in a letter to vacate the official quarter for the newly sworn in Vice Chairman, he responded with insult on Hon. George Alli.
“George I wouldn’t dignify you by reply your letter. Tile notice to vacate official qauter. But I will ask you a question. Do you provide me any qauter as your deputy? Shame on you.”

The immediate past Caretaker Chairman, by this action, comes off as an alarmist and should bury his head in shame. He should rather tender an apology for attempting to mislead members of the public and the government through this kind of action.
A man who through deliberate, vicious and malicious script, accused Hon. George Alli of sending thugs who assaulted him, exposed himself when he said he didn’t sustain any bodily injury, should not be taken seruosly.
Clearly he has shown himself as one who is not only confused, but a double speak: he speaks from both side of his mouth.
Obvously Mr. Inalegwu Abraham needs help. But this is not the right way to seek help. You don’t get help by seeking to pull someone down. Especially a man like Hon. George alli. This is another failed calculated attempt to tarnish Hon. Goegge Alli’s image. A man regarded by many as the best Chairman of Otukpo LG.
Chief (Hon) George Alli is busy focusing on the task ahead of him as a Chairman — elected by the people of Otukpo Local Government and cannot be distracted in his determination to dutifully serve the good people of Otukpo Local Government.
