Otukpo: George Alli swears in King Shadrach, Eneh Yusuf, others as Supervisory Councillors

The Executive Chairman of Otukpo LGC, Rt. Hon. George Alli today, Wednesday, August 5th 2020, inaugurated the newly appointed Supervisory Councillors and Special Advisers/Assistants.
The chairman, while inaugurating them during a short ceremony at the council Secretariat, said their appointments were contingent on the need to sustain the effort made by Otukpo Local government under him, to effectively serve the good people of Otukpo LG who graciously gave him their mandate for another term. The Council Boss charged the appointees to see their appointment as an opportunity to serve the people of Otukpo Local Government, saying, they were appointed to serve.
“All of you are the mirrors by which Otukpo Local Government Council is seen. I urge you all to be good ambassadors of the Council at all times. If we win, we win together”; the multiple awards winning Chairman said..
Speaking further, the Former State Lawmaker said, “Today, out of so many other people out there you have been chosen to serve the people of Otukpo Local Government. Otukpo LG population is over 400,000, out of which you have been nominated. I impolre you all to work assiduously towards adding values that could put Otukpo LG on the part of glory.”
Responding, on behalf of the supervisory councillors, Hon. Shadrack Abu, expressed his gratitude and thanks to the Chairman, party Excos, leaders and the people of Otukpo Local Government Council for honouring them. He equally appreciated the the Chairman for the confidence reposed in them. He assured the Chairman of their full cooperation in helping him achieve his people-oriented developmental strides across the 13 political council wards of Otukpo Local Government.
According to him, “We there can be no success if there is no unity and cooperation, which has pledged their commitment to promoting the administration.
The Councilors that were sworn-in inclides:
(1)King Shadrach Abu – Revenue
(2) Ogwuche Dinah Ene Yusuf – Health
(3) Anthony Ogbo -,Works
(4)Francis Ogbole Odeh – Education
(5) Hon Otache Reuben – Agric
Also, the Special Advisers sworn-in includes:
(1) Hon. Abel Otobi (Adviser, Special Duties and Religious Affairs).
(2) Hon. Igoche Ajaka Ikwue (Adviser on security)
(3) Desmond Oogwu (Media and Gender Matters)
The ceremony was witnesses by family and friends,.including party leaders and parth faithfuls: clergy men and traditional rulers.
