Otukpo/Ohimini 2019: Egli Ahubi assures quality representation (Photos)
The Deputy Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, Hon. Egli Johnson Ahubi who doubles as the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Otukpo/Ohimini federal constituency in the forthcoming February 16th election has assured the good people of Ohimini local government area of good and quality representation.
Hon. Egli made the declaration while addressing supporters and electorates during his Ward-to-Ward tour in Agadagba, Ochobo, Atlo, Oglewu and Ehatokpe wards respectively.
In his words: “I’m not out to make promises but I can assure you that i won’t disappoint as your representative. I will effectively take it from where our leader for Otukpo and Ohimini, Rt. Hon. Ezekiel Awulu Adaji has stopped.
“Politicians are known for telling lies but my case is different. If you go to my present constituency which is Otukpo/Akpa State constituency and ask, my people will tell you about me.
The house of Representatives hopeful went further to urge the people to vote only for PDP candidates, stressing that the other parties lack the capacity and technical knowledge to develop the land.
“We have tested parties like the APC in 2015 and the result which we are all aware of is disastrous. They brought nothing but joblessness, poverty, insecurity and marginalization.
“Please and please, let’s make no mistake in repeating that again. The major ethnic social-political group and forums like Ohanaeze, Afenifere others have endorsed Atiku Abubakar for president, Abba Moro we all know is Mr. empowerment, so we have to vote him as our senator, myself as the member representing Otukpo/Ohimini constituency, Gov. Ortom as governor still because he has good plans for the Benue people but was sabotage by the APC cabals which he has fallen apart with. Voting the APC candidate is like re-enforcing the cabals. Let’s also vote Hon. Chris Adaji in order for him to return and continue the good work he has started and possibly become the next Deputy Speaker. ” He said.
