The chances of Hon. Egli Johnson Ahubi, the Deputy Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly who also doubles as the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Otukpo/Ohimini federal constituency in the forthcoming general elections received a boast as the entire Otada, Igbanonmaje and Zone HB residents declare and drum full support for the lawmaker.
Hon. Egli was blessed and gifted with two thousand naira by the most elderly man in Otada village, Pa. Oketa Otuh.
Pa. Oketa who is the present Ad’alekwu of the village presented a one thousand naira note to Egli after blessing it with water saying “add this money to your campaign fund, it’s a contribution of the Otada community and it’s ancestors. Everything that concerns your race is been perfected. ” He added.
Also speaking, the youth leader of the village, Ben Egwu commended Egli’s service to the Otada people even before becoming an Assembly member saying “I remember vividly when you graded all roads that leads to Otada even before your election.
“You have been more than nice to us here. We have about four transformers in Otada today because you helped facilitated two. We have very standard classrooms with air conditioners courtesy of PDP leadership. We will support you and all PDP candidates during the elections.
Hon. Ony’Attah Odeh AKA Elema who spoke on behalf of the women in the locality also extol Hon. Egli as she urge all the Otada people to throw their weight behind the house of Reps hopeful adding that he’s victory is their victory.
Similarly, the Igbanonmaje and Zone HB residents agreed to support none other than the Benue number 4 man to clinch the green chamber position.
