Otukpo/Ohimini: Alex Ogbe redeems pledge to restore light in Idoma community

The people’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the 2023 Federal House of Representatives position, Hon. Alex Enokela Ogbe, has redeemed the pledge made to ASA 1 community to restore electricity to the people.

Hon Ogbe had in October 2022, embarked on an assessment Tour of wards in Otukpo Local Government Area, to be abreast with the yearnings of the People.

Amongst numerous challenges being faced by the people, a resident of Otukpo town East (Ward 1), George Uloko who spoke on behalf of the community at the interface, mentioned the prolonged darkness which has beclouded them following an explosion that rocked the substation at Asa earlier this year.

Hon. Alex Ogbe who was accompanied by his Campaign DG, Hon. Francis Ogbanje, Chief Obogo Alapa, and other supporters from the area, released funds running into millions of naira for the immediate replacement of the armoured cables which were earlier destroyed.

In appreciation, the Ejila of ASA; Chief Norman Ikpa commended the HoR hopeful saying by this singular act, Hon. Alex Ogbe has taken shame away from his people, and prayed God bless his ambition.
