Otukpo/Ohimini: Nelson Alapa faults court’s judgment, vows seek redress in Court of Appeal

The All Progressives Congress Standard bearer for Otukpo / Ohimini Federal Constituency in the just concluded general elections Chief Nelson Alapa has described the verdict of the tribunal as lopsided, faulty and not the true representation of the expected outcome since it was a direct adoption of Ezekiel Adaji’s written address therefore lacks merit.

He wondered why such a petition will be dismissed on flimsy grounds of hearsay considering the fact that agents are duly certified to be the eyes of a candidate in every elections and their submissions therefore valid more so that documents speak for themselves.

He further complained that the main crux of the matter as presented through all documents submitted to the tribunal was not visited and addressed. He insisted he won the elections therefore the people’s mandate must be restored. He is calling on all his supporters to remain calm and law abiding as he is seeking a redress at the Court of Appeal.
