There is currently palpable tension in Effium, Ebonyi State following the death of over 40 persons and many others injured over a parking garage.
Report says a Chairman and House of assembly member in the community are said to have been at loggerheads over who controls a parking garage.
A source, “over 40 people have been killed since last night, homes destroyed, many stranded and left homeless.”
Residents of the community have fled their homes over the rising tension in the area.
