Plateau boils as Fulani herdsmen hack over 86 people to death

The Nigeria police Force have confirmed over 86 persons killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen during an attack on Gashish district of Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.

Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mathias Tyopev, told Channels Television on Sunday June 24th, 2018 that about six people were also injured while at least 50 houses, two vehicles and 15 motorcycles were burnt down.

Tyopev confirmed the casualty figure and destruction after a search and rescue team from the Plateau State Police Command visited the affected communities.
