Owukpa windstorm: Senator Abba Moro condoles with victims

The Senator representing Benue South Senatorial District, Comrade Abba Moro, expresses shocks at the extent of destruction inflicted on lives, public and private properties in the windstorm that swept through Ai-Famu, a community in Owukpa, Ogbadibo LGA of Benue State, over the weekend.

The Comrade-Senator specially condoles with the Ogidi family over the death of their mother, Mrs. Regina Ogidi, in the devastating windstorm.

Senator Moro equally condoles with those injured and those who lost valuables to the natural disaster, especially the Catholic community over the effect of the windstorm on St. Michael The Archangel Catholic Church’s building, which he described as shocking.

The lawmaker is really shocked at what happened especially at a time the nation is grappling with the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic.

He prays God to give the family of the deceased the fortitude to bear the loss, while praying for the quick recovery of those injured in the unfortunate disaster.

The Senator calls on the Benue State Emergency Management Agency (BENSEMA) and spirited individuals to come to the aid of those affected by the windstorm.
