Panic as 9 aides of Gov. Samuel Ortom contract COVID-19 in Benue

At least nine persons working with Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State have contracted the deadly coronavirus.

Ortom had announced that he tested positive to the virus on wedn.

This was made known by the Deputy Governor, Engr. Benson Abounu.

Abounu said despite the development, all government activities were going on unhindered.

Abounu, the State Chairman of the Action Committee on COVID-19, said the committee had already carried out contact tracing of those who came in contact with all those infected by the virus.
