Panic as Benue records highest number of coronavirus in one day

Benue now has recorded 37 new cases of coronavirus.

This is the highest number of cases recorded in a day since the virus hit the nation’s food basket state.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed the figure in a tweet via its Twitter handle Tuesday night.

With this, the state has now recorded 694 cases.

Meanwhile, Nigeria has now recorded 113,305 COVID-19 cases and 1,464 deaths officially.
