The Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS) has revealed on its verified Facebook page, that a gorilla reportedly owned by the Centre for Psychic and Healing Administration, Awka, ran away from its cage and severely injured a resident.
According to the information gathered from an eyewitness, the animal escaped on Tuesday morning, and allegedly bit one person at the Centre which is opposite St Thomas Aquinas Church, GRA, Anambra state.
ABS news also reported that the injured victim was taken to an undisclosed hospital within the metropolis, and treatment on the wound sustained is being treated by health officials.
