Over one hundreds passengers escaped death on Monday as an Abuja bound Aero Contractors flight returned to Port Harcourt five minutes after take-off as one of the aircraft engines was lost to bird strike.
One of the passengers, Ufuoma Bernard, said Aero Contractors’ aircraft suffered bird strike five minutes after take-off to Abuja.
Bernard further stated that the aircraft landed back in Port Harcourt airport successful with crew and passengers.
Recalled that two months ago, a Lagos bound Aero Contractors flight returned to Kano after one of the engines of the aircraft was hit by bird during take-off.
