Pastor Adeboye apologizes over controversial claim that non-tithers will not go to Heaven

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has apologized for his earlier comment suggesting that those who do not pay tithe will not make it to heaven.

During one of his sermons in 20218, Adeboye had warned that any believer who fails to pay tithe would end up in hell.

However, the cleric he has since acknowledged this statement as a mistake and clarified that it is not supported by biblical teachings.

Adeboye urged his congregation to forgive him, emphasizing that his earlier remarks were incorrect.
