Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has expressed his solidarity with Israel during the ongoing conflict with the Palestinian Islamist group, Hamas.
IDOMA VOICE reported that on Saturday, October 7, Hamas launched a significant attack on Israel, resulting in the loss of over a thousand lives and injuring hundreds in a surprise assault that involved both gunmen infiltrating Israel and a barrage of rockets fired from Gaza.
The conflict escalated, leading to Israel engaging in a full-scale military offensive in the Gaza Strip. Humanitarian organizations have reported a death toll of 2,300 on both sides.
In response to these developments on Wednesday, Pastor Adeboye posted a brief video via his social media handle, formerly Twitter, where he prayed for God to grant Israel absolute victory.
In a tweet, Adeboye stated: “My dear Brothers in Israel, know that we are fervently praying for you. Every member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God stands with you during this critical time. May the Almighty God, the Holy One of Israel, grant you absolute victory and everlasting peace in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Your days ahead will be blessed.”
He went on to predict that this ongoing war would mark the end of the disruptions to peace in Israel, foreseeing a future of lasting peace and progress for the nation.
