Despite the warning by the Indigenous People of Biafra, Pastor WF Kumuyi of Deeper Life is set to storm Aba, Abia State for a crusade.
IDOMA VOICE recalls that IPOB had advised the General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Kumuyi, to cancel the planned crusade in Abia State, because of security concerns in the South East.
In a statement, yesterday, the group’s Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, cautioned Kumuyi to take note of the security situation in the South East as he comes to Aba for his gospel crusade.
However, the church seems not to be bothered by the warning as indications have emerged that preparations are in top gears for the crusade.
In a post on its official Facebook on Friday, the church asked its members if they were ready for the Aba crusade.
However, many commenters warned the church to postpone the crusade due to the tension in the southeast region.
