Pastor Michael Olowere of CAC Oke Agbara buried in Ibadan

Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, saw the gathering of prominent Christian clerics and leaders who came together to bid farewell to the founder of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Oke Agbara, Ibadan, Pastor Michael Ojo Olowere. The event was organized in honor of the popular prophet, who was affectionately known as Baba Automatic. Pastor Michael Ojo Olowere passed away in July at the age of 100.

The Christian Wake Keep and service of songs took place at the main bow of Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba, Ibadan. Distinguished clerics in attendance included Pastor Samuel Oladele, President of Christ Apostolic Church Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Abraham Akinosun, his predecessor, and Pastor Hezekiah Oladeji, the General Evangelist of CAC.

Other notable figures present at the event were Bishop Taiwo Adelakun, the presiding Bishop of Victory International Church, Ibadan, Evangelist Bola Are, Evangelist Bisi Alawiye Aluko, Lady Evangelist Racheal Olowere, and Pastor Olatoye Ojo, among others.

During the service, Pastor Gabriel Dada, the Regional Superintendent of CAC, delivered a sermon in which he described death as the pathway to heaven. He emphasized the importance of drawing closer to God, emphasizing that all earthly possessions are temporary. He commended the late pastor for dedicating his life to serving God and humanity.

Barrister Sharafadeen Alli, the Senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District, also paid his respects at the event. He lauded Pastor Olowere’s commitment to the welfare of those around him and his unwavering dedication to speaking the truth to those in power.
