Paulo Okoye names Burna Boy as Nigeria’s top-earning musician

Music executive Paulo Okoye has named Burna Boy as the wealthiest musician in Nigeria.

According to Okoye, Burna Boy earned a staggering $80 million in 2023 alone.

He shared this information during an Instagram live session with podcaster Daddy Freeze.

Okoye praised Burna Boy’s financial success, noting, “The only person making significant money in Nigeria right now is Burna Boy.

He earned between $80 and $100 million four years ago. Burna Boy is on a different level.” He also highlighted that Burna Boy operates with a small team, including just his immediate family and a few contractors or consultants.”
