PDP appoints Nyesom Wike as member of Bayelsa State Campaign council

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has revealed the membership of the Bayelsa State National Campaign Council for the upcoming election in the state. The list includes prominent PDP leaders, notably former governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike; former governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom; former Abia State governor, Okezie Ikpeazu; and former governor of Enugu State, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, among others.

This announcement comes shortly after Nyesom Wike’s nomination on President Bola Tinubu’s ministerial list just five days ago, signaling his continued active involvement in political affairs.

The PDP leaders held a meeting in Abuja, where the decision was made, and the National Working Committee of the party officially released the list. Details of the campaign council’s plans and strategies for the Bayelsa State election are yet to be disclosed.
