PDP behind ‘plot to remove Abdullahi Adamu’ – APC

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused the Peoples Democratic Party of sponsoring reports in the media of a plot to remove its National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu.

This was made known by the National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, on Wednesday.

According to him, the claims are based on the imagination of sponsors “ostensibly unnerved by the remarkable achievements of Adamu” since he assumed office.

He said the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is welcome to continue to dissipate its energies on innuendoes.

Morka accused the PDP of “chasing after phantom plots in APC rather than concentrate on mending its broken and acrimonious house”.

The party added that the National Working Committee stands united under Adamu’s leadership “with the singular commitment to winning the next general election”.
