The Senator representing the good people of Benue South Senatorial District, Comrade Abba Patrick Moro, congratulates Senator (Dr.) Iyorchia Ayu, on his emergence as the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Saturday.
Senator Ayu had earlier emerged the North Central and Northern consensus candidate for the top PDP job, a position that was ratified at the party’s National Convention, which was held at Eagles Square, in Abuja, on Saturday.
Senator Moro describes Ayu as a perfect gentleman and a round peg in a round hole, considering his vast experiences as a former Senate President, former Federal Minister and member of the BOT of PDP.
The Senator believes that the President of the Senate in the Third Republic has the character, intelligence, energy and wisdom to pilot the affairs of the largest party in Africa and return it to its winning track and rescue Nigeria from the rising insecurity, poverty, unemployment and economic downtown caused by the misrule of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He wishes the new Chairman and his Executives the very best and pledges his continued and unalloyed support for him and the party at all times.
