Commander General, Peace Corps of Nigeria, Ambassador Dickson Akoh, has applauded the monumental achievements of the Chairman, All Progressives Congress, APC, Benue state Chapter, Comrade Abba Yaro describing the party as being lucky to have a chairman who is always transparent and upright in handling its affairs in the state.
He stated this today at the party secretariat while on a courtesy visit to the State Party Chairman, Comrade Abba Yaro to thank him for what he is doing, saying the Chairman’s disposition has made the party to be united.
Ambassador Dickson particularly thanked the Chairman for constructing a gigantic Congress Hall at the Party Secretariat and the renovation and furnishing of the party’s secretariat, the projects he said has solved the problem of accommodation and meeting venue for the party.
The Commander General thanked members of the State Working Committee of the Party for the support given to the Chairman, maintaining that such was the reason why there are no crisis within the party and he then called on them to continue giving Comrade Abba Yaro the needed support to enable him take the party to greater heights.
Responding, the Chairman, Comrade Abba Yaro, thanked Ambassador Dickson Akor whom he described as a long time friend for the visit, saying he was encouraged to do greater things for the Party and state in general.
Comrade Yaro added that he has total believe and trust in the organization Ambassador Dickson is heading, a reason he has employed the services of men of the Peace Corps to man the security at the party secretariat.
The state Chairman thanked Governor Samuel Ortom and Senator George Akume for standing by the party, stressing that the Congress Hall project would not have been possible without the support of these two great leaders.
