‘Peace has replaced chaos’ – Tonto Dikeh reconciles with ex-husband, Churchill after 10 years

Nollywood actress and politician, Tonto Dikeh, has announced that she has reconciled with her former husband, Olakunle Churchill, bringing an end to nearly a decade of public disputes.

The actress and Churchill tied the knot in 2015, but the marriage broke down within two years, triggering a long-running fallout marked by accusations of infidelity, intense media drama, and protracted child custody battles.

In a heartfelt message shared on her Facebook page, Tonto revealed that the reconciliation was the result of divine intervention, humility, and persistent prayers.

She explained that issues which proved impossible to resolve through human efforts were ultimately healed through faith and obedience to God.

Describing the renewed relationship as a spiritual restoration, the actress said calm and understanding have now taken the place of years of hostility, resentment, and broken communication. She added that forgiveness, humility, and their shared love for their child formed the foundation of their reunion, while urging others facing similar struggles not to give up.

She wrote, “We are living proof that the Word of God is eternal and unfailing. God is not a God who abandons what He has started.

When He begins a work, He stays with it until it is completed. After ten long years of public battles, deep wounds, broken communication, bitterness, and pain, God stepped in.

What looked ugly, impossible, and beyond repair has been touched by mercy. Peace has replaced chaos.

Respect has returned where anger once lived. What human effort could not fix, God healed by salvation, humility, and the sincere prayers of a child.
