People only expressed their sincere feelings, they didn’t mock the gentle chief Audu Ogbeh (Opinion)

At anytime the people are speaking their mind to their leaders for a behavior the are not comfortable with, don’t make effort to stop them, unless such is aimed at achieving cheap political gain.

The set of Idomas who are of the opinion that Chief Audu Ogbe didn’t use his position to the greater advantage of the people of Benue and Benue South in particular are not being rediculous, their point is lucid.

All Idoma sons and daughter on federal appointment, always do their primary assignments above average at the national level. Consequently, performing up there has never being an issue.

For instance, Distinguish Sen. David Mark arguably is still the best senate president Nigeria had in this 4th republic.

Do your research, states administered by Idoma men during the military era enjoyed above average performance.

Chief Audu arguably is the best performing minister in the change era cabinet. Agriculture witnessed serious progress in Nigeria majorly in the North West under his watch, he strategically promoted the diversification politicy of PMB’s adaministration. He’s nothing close to failure as a national leader, just like Sen. David Mark and many others. But can that be said about him at home? This is the one million question the people are asking.

I won’t attempt to answer the question here, this is because I don’t have facts and figure on what the gentle Chief Audu Ogbe has done or not in other parts of Benue. But if the popular argument that charity begins at home is true, then Chief didn’t leave legacies in Ogbadibo.

His four years as the minister of agriculture and rural development has no much impact on our farmers, women nor youths empowerment and rural communities.

Don’t get me wrong like you did when I talked about Sen. David Mark in the past, I’m not saying he did nothing, all I’m saying is that the people have more reasons to be angry with his performance back home even though he’s an enigmal doing his job at the national level.

No matter how good you are at the national level, if you are a person of little impact on the people at home, the people will express their displesure.

Nobody is mocking okpani, as a matter of fact he can’t be mocked, people are only telling him what they feel about him and that’s good, it’s a sign that the followers are interested in what’s happening around them.

Chief Audu Ogbe can still be appointed for one position or the other, I expect him to take the cry of his people serious. just few Idoma sons and daughters are as lucky as the gentle chief, he should use it to the people’s advantage.
