An Abuja based serial entrepreneur and philanthropist, Dr. Peter Adejoh, Wednesday bagged the Thomas Sankara Leadership prize for Excellence as the Pan African Icon of Entrepreneurship Renaissance by the Youth Partnership for Africa’s Development, YOUPAD
Presenting the award to Dr. Adejoh at Plush Hotel Abuja, the President of YOUPAD, Comr. Coulibally Bn Hameed described Adejoh as an entrepreneur with zero tolerance for corruption, nepotism or favouritism and passion for job creation.
Coulibally disclosed that the Youth Partnership for Africa is aiming at positioning the youth towards the 2063 agenda which is Africa’s blueprint and master plan for transforming Africa into the global power house of the future.
He continued, “To achieve our objectives we need to find individuals who have distinguished themselves in various areas of endeavor, appreciate them with our instrument of commendation as we also (More importantly) interact with them so as to enable us tap from their wealth of experience and replication of their good works in other member states.
“It is on the foregoing that we are here today to honour your esteemed person (Dr. Peter Adejoh) because you have distinguished yourself as a selfless leader of astute erudition, outstanding understanding and articulate attributions, who is one of the prominent Africans that are writing their names on the very heart of history as a matter of dedicated device to God, humanity and country, which is inline with the Thomas Sankara ideology,” Coulibally said.
Coulibally listed Adejoh’s dedication to national development though entrepreneurship as well as his versatility and success in the Real Estate sector, Banking sector, Hospitality sector and Fintech as one of the reasons for the honour.
Reacting, the philanthropist, founder and Executive Chairman/CEO Chief of Camey & Rock Platform Holdings, Peter Adejoh commended YOUPAD for the honour and added that, the award will spur him to do more.
YOUPAD is a youth organization with the overarching mandate to serve as a platform for young people to engage with, discuss, research and analyse issues relating to foreign & domestic policy, security, climate change, governance & development.
