Yusuf Baba-Ahmed, the former Vice Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), has reiterated his claim that he and Peter Obi won the 2023 presidential election. Baba-Ahmed made this statement during an appearance on Arise Television’s Prime Time program on Friday.
“We won the 2023 election. I will never stop saying it,” Baba-Ahmed declared.
He alleged that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) switched off its Result Viewing portal (IRev) and returned results manually, manipulating the outcome of the election.
Baba-Ahmed criticized the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for its unfulfilled campaign promises and the country’s deteriorating state. He compared the Labour Party’s current status to that of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) in 2013/2014, stating that the LP is in a better position.
He warned that Nigerians will eventually realize the grand scheme to divide the country into six autonomous zones, citing the government’s failures, worsening insecurity, declining economy, and aggravated corruption.
Baba-Ahmed vowed to continue speaking out, saying, “Continue looking at the failures… Add that to when Nigerians will now wake up to the realization that beyond 2027, there’s probably a grand scheme to dismember Nigeria into six autonomous zones…”
