I’m now Obidient – Bishop Chukwuma declares support for Peter Obi

The Archbishop of Enugu Ecclesiastical Province, Anglican Communion, Most Rev. Emmanuel Chukwuma, on Monday, has declared his support for the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

The cleric said Obi has become a national project that deserves the support of every Nigerian.

He said that the popularity and acceptability was so high that the opponents and enemies alike would not be able to pull him down no matter the campaign of calumny.
Chukwuma who was reacting to reports in the media quoting him as saying that Enugu state was not ‘Obidient’, said he is not and has never been against Obi’s presidential ambition but rather has supported it more than those persecuting him.

‘Shame on you’ – Aisha blasts El-Rufai for mocking Peter Obi’s supporters

Activist Aisha Yesufu has slammed Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State over his tweet mocking Peter Obi’s proposed rally in the state.

Nigerian singer, Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has lambasted the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, over his recent tweet mocking supporters of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

The Kaduna governor had in a tweet made fun of the proposed Two Million March rally in Kaduna Peter Obi and his running mate, Yusuf Ahmed-Baba.

Peter Obi: Social media account owners are not ghosts – Frank Edwards

Singer Frank Edwards has faulted those saying that Peter Obi’s supporters are only social media.

Many people believe that the presidential candidate of the Labour Party has no structure and does not stand a chance in the 2023 election.

Many of them are of the opinion that Obi’s followers are only online.

Responding, Edwards said, “Why do some say some people’s support is only on social media as if it’s ghosts that own the social media accounts.”

2023: Adamu Garba gives Peter Obi condition, dares him to visit Arewa House

Former presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba has asked Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of Labour Party to prove to northerners that he’s not a supporter of the INDIGENOUS PEOPLE OF BIAFRA, IPOB.

Garba said the only way northerners will believe Obi is for him to visit Arewa House and openly declare IPOB as a terrorists group.

He tweeted, “To disprove Miyetti Allah, Peter Obi should go to, organize a media conference & categorically call IPOB as terrorist that they are, like all senior political leaders from the North called Boko Haram & Bandits as terrorist.
“Alas, he may not do that. Don’t blame them.”

El-Rufai mocks Peter Obi’s rally in Kaduna

Governor Nasir El-Rufai has dismissed the possibility of a proposed rally for the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, gaining any traction in Kaduna State.

Early Monday, El- Rufai quoted a tweet, calling for a two million man march in Kaduna for Obi, and said, “In Kaduna? Not Kaduna Twitter? –

“I hope you get Two Hundred persons on the streets, including those ‘imports’ that can’t open their shops on Mondays, and came on overnight bus last night!!
“I jus’ dey laff, wallahi tallahi!! – #KadunaResident.”

Biafra/Oduduwa: Why some people want to break out of Nigeria – Peter Obi

Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has revealed that he’s ready to carry everybody along in his government if elected president of Nigeria in 2023.

Obi made the statement at the weekend when he featured in an interview on News Central TV.

According to him, Nigeria is highly divided because there has not been any dialogue to bring them together.

“The simple thing for Nigerians to ask themselves is, we have been in this business for 24 years, are we on the right road? If you have been in a situation for 24 years, people have been promising and not delivering,” he said.

Peter Obi’s supporters are idiots, they will labour in vain – Adamu Garba

Former presidential aspirant and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Adamu Garba, has described supporters of Peter Obi of Labour Party as idiots.

He said Peter Obi’s supporters will labour in vain because he will fail to become president in 2023.

He tweeted on Sunday, “Don’t be deceived by the so-called Obedients, they are either Obidiots or ObideEnd, but one thing about them is clear, they shall always go and Labour in vain.”

Activist accuses Peter Obi of training terrorists ahead of election

The presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi, has been accused of raising terrorists ahead of the 2023 election.

Deji Adeyanju of Concered Nigeria made the claimed in a tweet on Sunday.

According to him, Obi supporters, also known as Obidients, have been threatening to kill anybody with dissenting voice against their ‘new messiah’

Activist and lawyer, Deji Adeyanju has alleged that supporters of the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi, are threatening to kill him.

Adeyanju, who has been a staunch critic of Peter Obi, has said the Labour Party’s candidate will come a distant third in the 2023 presidential election.

He alleged that Obi is training terrorists in the name of running for president.

Peter Obi’s supporters shut down Calabar [PHOTOS/VIDEO]

Supporters of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate Labour Party, LP, on Saturday took over the streets of Calabar in a massive rally.

The rally, which was attended by thousands of youths, literally paralyzed vehicular movements in the Paradise City.

The demonstrators were seen displaying placards with inscriptions asking Nigerians to support Peter Obi to emerge victorious in 2023.

IDOMA VOICE reports that supporters of the Labour Party candidate had last week staged a one million-man march in Nasarawa.

The event had many young people in attendance, who clamoured for Peter Obi as the next president of Nigeria.

Supporters of the presidential candidate of Labour Party staged a rally in some parts of the FCT Abuja on Saturday.

The rally, which was witnessed by IDOMA VOICE, kicked off at the Sada Cruz junction, Jikwoyi, with many youths in attendance.

Peter Obi is a fantastic Nigerian, but not a presidential material – Dino Melaye

Dino Melaye, the spokesperson of Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign Council, has said it is not yet the time for Peter Obi of the Labour Party to become the president of Nigeria.

Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Friday, Melaye said Peter Obi lacked what it takes to lead Nigeria as a president.

Melaye maintained that Atiku had engaged in interactions with Nigerians and he is confident of winning.

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, was at the ongoing convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

IDOMA VOICE reports that the 2022 convention is currently ongoing at the Redemption Camp, along the Lagos Ibadan expressway, Ogun State.

The congregants could not hide their excitement as they screamed the moment it was announced that the LP presidential candidate was in the Redemption Camp for the first time.

This is coming a few weeks after Obi received a rousing welcome at the Glory Dome of the Dunamis Church during the Mid Year Worship in Abuja.

Peter Obi is a criminal, Atiku a smart looter – Deji Adeyanju

Socio-political commentator and lawyer, Deji Adeyanju has described Peter Obi, Labour Party’s presidential candidate, as a criminal.

Adeyanju said Obi stole billions of naira from Anambra state while he was the governor and put it in his family business.

He also described Atiku Abubakar, PDP presidential candidate as a smart looter who milked the country dry as vice president between 1999-2007.
The former PDP media director also accused Bola Tinubu, APC presidential candidate of using his company to collect revenue for Lagos State.

Femi Kuti insults Peter Obi’s supporters, calls them zombies

Femi Kuti, son of afrobeat legend, Fela Kuti, has described supporters of Labour Party presidential candidate for 2023, Peter Obi, also known as “Obidients,” as zombies.

Zombie was the title of a studio album released in 1976 by his late father, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, when he derided Nigerian soldiers as a bunch of robotic and senseless individuals.

“You know what obedience means? Stand up, sit down, sit there — zombie,” Mr Kuti said during a performance at the Shrine Thursday night in Lagos, wondering why Mr Obi’s popularity has grown rapidly in recent months.

“How can you be Obidient in this chaos? I am not Obidient. Tell me, at 60, why am I Obidient? You said I should be Obidient, sit down, be peaceful,” he said. “Are you all okay in this country?”
