Peter Obi reacts as Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan wins 100M hurdles gold medal

The presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi has congratulated Tobi Amusan for winning the 100M hurdles gold medal at the World Championships.

The duo of Tobi Amusan and Ese Brume produced the medals for Nigeria and they did it in style Oregon with jaw-breaking performances.

Reacting, Obi said Amusan’s tears at the ceremony podium while the Nigerian anthem played, connects that our dear country needs leaders to match the talents and ambitions of her youths

He tweeted, “I sincerely congratulate Tobi Amusan on winning the 100M hurdles gold medal and setting a world record. Her tears at the ceremony podium while the Nigerian anthem played, connects that our dear country needs leaders to match the talents and ambitions of her youths.-PO.”
