IDOMA VOICE reports that the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Nigeria’s opposition party, Peter Obi, has denied receiving Private Jet from Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma, a politician and retired Nigerian army lieutenant general who played a key role in post-independence military and political events in Nigeria.

This online news platform understands that there were reports in some sections of the Nigerian media that TY Danjuma offered his private jet to Peter Obi to aid his mobilization in the ongoing 2023 Presidential election campaigns. The report also claimed that other prominent Nigerians offered their private jets to the Labour Party candidate for the campaigns.
However, Peter Obi has taken to the micro-blogging site, Twitter, to deny ever receiving such offers. The Presidential candidate, who is a former governor of Anambra State, southeast Nigeria, prayed that the eminent Nigerians mentioned are not “unduly distracted by such social media utterances”.
Peter Obi tweeted: “Recently, several social media reports have alluded that some eminent Nigerians have donated their personal jets for my use during my campaign. In as much as I appreciate the expression of such hopes, I have never received any of such offer.
“I pray that those eminent Nigerians mentioned, are not unduly distracted by such social media utterances. May God Almighty bless those eminent Nigerians always,” the Labour Party Presidential candidate added.
