Peter Obi’s visit to Benue postponed indefinitely

The leadership of Labour PArty in Benue State has postponed the planned visit of its presidential candidate, Peter Obi to the state.

Obi was billed to be in Benue this week, but the party’s Publicity Secretary, Kengkeng Ati,announced that the visit has been postponed indefinitely.

He said, “This is to notify the teeming supporters of our party, the overwhelming gamut of Obidients and the general public of the postponement of the imminent visit of our Presidential Candidate His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi to Benue State.

“The new details of his visit will be communicated expressly upon clarity of a set and definite schedule.

“While all plans for his thunderous reception are expected to continue and even upgraded upon, we deeply regret the consequences of this postponement as it has been done with utmost sincerity and in good faith.”
