The Deputy Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, Hon. Egli Johnson Ahubi has expressed great sympathy with the family of Iconic Idoma gospel singer Evangelist Peter Owoicho Otulu and the entire Idoma nation over the untimely demise of the musician.
Hon. Egli who is also the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Otukpo/Ohimini federal constituency in his condolence message made available to newsmen at his Otukpo residence described the incident as very sad and tragic.
According to him: “Its very unfortunate to lose such a great and extremely talented man at a point like this, but on the other hand, who are we to question God’s decisions.
“Evang. Peter is one of the pioneer of Idoma gospel music who put the whole of Idoma nation on the map through his craft effortlessly at all times. His contributions to the development of the gospel music industry in our land is immeasurable and will be seriously missed.
“My prayer is for God to grant his family, Otukpo local government and the entire Idoma land the fortitude to bear this irreparable lose. ” The lawmaker added.
