Manchester City’s Phil Foden and Bunny Shaw have been named the PFA Men’s and Women’s Players of the Year, respectively, at the PFA Awards on Tuesday evening.

Foden, 24, played a pivotal role in City’s triumph in securing their fourth consecutive Premier League title, contributing 19 goals and eight assists throughout the season.

His outstanding performances have now been honored by his fellow professionals.

Jamaican forward Bunny Shaw emerged as the top scorer in the Women’s Super League with 21 goals, narrowly missing out on the title with Manchester City, who were edged out on goal difference by Chelsea.

Chelsea’s attacking midfielder Cole Palmer was awarded the Men’s PFA Young Player of the Year, while Manchester United’s Grace Clinton took home the Women’s Young Player of the Year award after an impressive loan spell at Tottenham last season.

Palmer finished second only to Erling Haaland in Chelsea’s scoring charts with 22 goals and provided 11 assists, the most by any Chelsea player.
