Popular dancehall artist and former member of the now-defunct Plantashun Boiz, Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo, also known as Blackface, revealed that the longstanding feud between him and former bandmate 2Face (now known as 2Baba) has endured throughout the years due to 2Baba’s feelings of inferiority.
In the latest installment of The Honest Bunch Podcast, Blackface acknowledged that he maintains a positive relationship with Faze, another former bandmate, but pointed the finger at 2Baba for the ongoing discord.
Blackface went on to express his forgiveness toward 2Baba for both the conscious and unconscious actions that contributed to their strained relationship. He also extended a plea to the ‘African Queen’ singer to reciprocate and forgive him for any actions that may have caused offense.
“I and Faze are cool. Maybe 2face has inferiority complex towards me.
“It is time to bury the hatchet. I forgive 2face for everything he has done to me knowingly and unknowingly. He should also make space to forgive me for anything I have done,” Blackface said.
