Veteran Nigerian artist Eedris Abdulkareem recently asserted that 2face’s career achievements are largely indebted to his former bandmate, Blackface.
During his appearance on The Honest Bunch Podcast, co-hosted by Nedu, Deity Cole, and Husband Material, Abdulkareem argued that Blackface, the leader of the disbanded Plantashun Boiz, played a pivotal role in catapulting 2Baba to fame.
Speaking in Pidgin, Abdulkareem stated, “Most of the achievements wey 2face get today, na Blackface cause am.”
In another development, Abdulkareem expressed dissatisfaction with his senior colleague, Charly Boy, accusing him of betrayal and financial misconduct.
The ‘Jaga Jaga’ singer revealed his displeasure in a preview of an upcoming episode of ‘The Honest Bunch’ podcast, set to be released on Monday, February 19.
Abdulkareem, who successfully battled kidney disease in 2022, claimed that Charly Boy lacks integrity, especially concerning financial matters, and accused him of selling him out.
