The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested 71 suspects during coordinated raids on criminal hideouts and black spots across the territory.

The operation, carried out on October 7, involved personnel from the Gwagwalada, Nyanya, Gwagwa, Kubwa, Apo, Utako, Life Camp, Karmo, Jikwoyi, Kurudu, and Asokoro Divisions. The raids targeted uncompleted buildings and other locations suspected to serve as criminal hideouts.

Police sources said the suspects are currently undergoing screening and interrogation at the respective divisions, while those found culpable will be charged to court after investigations.

The command, according to the sources, reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining intelligence-led operations and regular patrols across the FCT to tackle crime and ensure public safety.
