Police arrest Okada rider for allegedly beheading 5-yr-old boy after raping his mother

Gbenga Oduola, a commercial motorcyclist has been arrested by police operatives in Oyo state for allegedly killing a five-year-old boy after raping his mother.

According to Punch, Oduola was among the 20 suspects paraded on Friday, December 20, 2019, by the Commissioner of Police, Shina Olukolu at the police headquarters in Eleyele, Ibadan.

The CP said the boy, Opeyemi Fadeyi, and his mother, Bosede Jimoh, 34, became Oduola’s victims on Sunday, December 8, 2019, when they boarded his motorcycle at Oja Oba, Igbo Ora in the Ibarapa Local Government Area of the state.

According to the police boss, instead of taking Abosede and her son to their destination on Lawal Estate, Imeleke Road, Igbo Ora, around 8pm, the motorcyclist took them to his house and had carnal knowledge of the woman three times before daybreak.

Olukotu said, “The following day, the commercial motorcycle rider took the victim’s son to another room and beheaded him with a cutlass. He claimed to have dumped the remains of the boy at a nearby bush. The remains were later recovered and the body had been deposited at the general hospital mortuary for autopsy.”

Explaining what he did with the head of the boy, the suspect said he buried it in his shop and “threw his body in the bush.”
