The Enugu State Police Command has announced the dates and venues for the JAMB-administered Computer-Based Test (CBT) for General Duty applicants in the ongoing 2022 Recruitment of Police Constables.
According to a statement released on Saturday in Enugu by the Command’s Spokesman, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, successful applicants who were shortlisted after the physical and credentials screening will undertake the CBT on Tuesday, March 5, and Wednesday, March 6.
The designated centres for the CBT exercise are as follows:
Coal City University CBT Centre, Abakaliki Road, Enugu
Enugu State College of Education (Technical), Abakaliki Road, Enugu
Foretrust Digital Learning Management Centre, Premier Layout, Near Dunamis Church, New Artisan, Enugu
Bishop Otubelu Juniorate CBT Centre, No. 3, Emelugo Drive, Hillview, Trans-Ekulu, Enugu (This replaces the previously designated IMT Digital Learning Management Centre, Campus 3, Enugu)
General Duty applicants who have been shortlisted are advised to visit the recruitment portal: https://apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng to access and print their examination invitation slip. This slip will contain details such as their respective dates, times, and centres for the CBT.
It is mandatory for applicants to report to the designated centres with their invitation slips, dressed in white T-shirts and shorts.
Ndukwe emphasized that the CBT is exclusively for General Duty applicants. The date and venue for the practical examination for applicants in the Specialists cadre will be announced soon by the Recruitment Board.
The Commissioner of Police, Mr. Kanayo Uzuegbu, extended his best wishes to the shortlisted General Duty applicants for the CBT stage of the recruitment. He urged them to conduct themselves appropriately and adhere to the rules governing the examination.
Uzuegbu also cautioned applicants to beware of job scammers who might attempt to defraud them under the guise of securing the job. He reiterated that the recruitment process remains absolutely free of charge.
