The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has issued a wanted notice for Ihuoma Julia Nneji, the daughter of prominent businessman and founder of ABC Transport, Frank Nneji, in connection with alleged cybercrime offenses.

In a statement released on Tuesday night by the National Cybercrime Center (NPF-NCC), the Police revealed that Miss Nneji is wanted on charges including ‘criminal defamation, injurious falsehood, and cyberstalking.’

The notice was made public via the official Facebook page of the Nigeria Police Force.

According to reports, Miss Nneji is accused of orchestrating a series of cyberbullying and blackmail campaigns against an Abuja-based businessman between August and September 2024. Although the identity of the alleged victim has not been disclosed, sources suggest that Miss Nneji, along with her associates, was involved in coordinated online harassment targeting the businessman.

The controversy gained further traction on September 24, 2024, when well-known social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, issued a public ultimatum to Miss Nneji. In a widely circulated video, VeryDarkMan gave her 24 hours to retract her statements and apologize to the businessman.

“You have 24 hours to take down the defamatory content and tender an apology. If you don’t, I will come out with all the evidence and make sure the truth comes to light,” VeryDarkMan warned in his video.

As of the time of this report, neither Miss Nneji nor her family have issued an official statement. The Nigeria Police has called on the public to provide any information regarding her whereabouts to the nearest police station or contact the National Cybercrime Center in Abuja.
