The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has launched a full-scale investigation into the disappearance of a black Toyota Hilux vehicle assigned to the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA), headed by Nuhu Ribadu.

The vehicle was reportedly stolen while an ONSA official attended Juma’at prayers on Friday in Abuja. According to sources, it had been parked around 1:05 p.m. directly opposite the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) complex in Area 10.

The official returned from prayers at a nearby mosque to find the vehicle missing.

Security analyst Zagazola Makama first reported the incident on X (formerly Twitter), stating that the matter was reported to the Garki Police Division by 2:00 p.m., prompting an immediate police response.

In reaction, the FCT Police Command initiated a citywide stop-and-search operation, deploying officers to key checkpoints across major entry and exit points in the capital.

Authorities have confirmed the incident and assured the public that a coordinated investigation is underway. Efforts are ongoing to recover the stolen vehicle and apprehend those responsible.
